Siemens Energy, Inc. Richland (Jackson) MS Facility Inbound Shipping Instructions

Siemens Energy, Inc. participates in a national agreement for all transportation and logistic services needs. This corporate contract provides discounted rates from participating companies which, when used by our suppliers, provides additional savings to Siemens. Therefore, effective immediately, the following instructions should be incorporated into your shipping procedures for items sent to our facility.

All shipments should be sent freight collect using the carriers in the attached listing. Suppliers not adhering to this will be debited the difference in the freight cost.

All Freight Bills should have the Siemens purchase order number in the P/O field. All collect freight bills shipped to 444 Hwy 49 South Richland MS. should be billed to:

No shipments should be sent Pre-Pay and Add unless an agreement has been reached with Siemens Purchasing.

Material should NOT be sent insured unless specified by Siemens.

Material weighing 70lbs. or less should be sent via UPS collect using Siemens Account number. Contact your Siemens Buyer for the account number.

All collect third party billing (shipments shipped to an address other than the Richland location) to Siemens must have the purchase order number on Freight Bills. These bills should have a bill to of the following:

Special note: On UPS third party billing you must ship collect using our account number.

All air shipments sent collect must have prior Siemens purchasing approval. The purchase order number must appear in the reference field on all air bills. Carriers should be selected based on the priority below. Fed-X should be used for all packages 10lbs. and less.
