Integration of dispersed and renewable generation
In the course of liberalization, dispersed power producers will increase their infeed into distribution networks. The impact of the new dispersed system components needs to be investigated to achieve the most advantageous installation and operation regarding economy and power quality. The intermittent and non-dispatchable character of renewable generation units requires energy management and load flow analysis for the entire load profile of networks with significant shares of renewable generation.
