The SICAM StationManager II has the ability to completely secure the real-time data stream between SCADA Control Center and Substation. It uses triple-DES encryption and Secure Socket Layer technology to encrypt and de-crypt the DNP over TCP/IP communications. Using this technology, customers are even able to use the internet as a communications backbone and still ensure secure data flow.
