SICAM Diamond is a Web-based operating and monitoring system and uses modern client-server architecture. It can be used to monitor the system interfaces, to indicate switching device states (and up-to-the date measured values), and also for further diagnostic purposes. This minimizes costs and the amount of resources required. This means that existing intranet and internet infrastructures can be used for data exchange. The SICAM Diamond server acts as data source and contains an administative tool which regulates data administration and user rights.
The Configuration Management Program (CMP) for SICAM StationManager II provides a Virtual LCD and keypad that mimics the exact behavior of the actual keypad and data display on the StationManager II. This feature is available via a dial-up connection.
