Description
The SIMPRO-100 provides complete induction motor protection. • Permits motors to operate up to maximum thermal limits while providing maximum sensitivity for faults. The SIMPRO-100 uses an advanced thermal model, with separate characteristics for starting and running conditions, to permit the motor to operate closer to maximum thermal limits. The Thermal Element can be easily set by using motor nameplate data, or by selecting one of 45 characteristic curves, or by creating a custom characteristic for special application situations. • Provides data that can be used for process optimization and reliability centered maintenance. Motor start reports and motor start trend reports record key motor operating data such as acceleration time and starting current, and store this data for later analysis. • Includes Standard Modbus communication for integration into facility monitoring and automation systems. Profibus communication is optionally available. • Optional internal or external RTD and voltage inputs are available. |

Description
The SIMPRO 100 multifunction protection relay provides complete induction motor protection. If RTDs are required, they can be connected to the relay directly or remotely with an externally module. The Simpro 100 features an easy-to-set thermal element using nameplate data. Motor start reports are available for normal operating information or reliability centered maintenance programs.
