Medium-voltage drawout controllers, type Series 81000 description
The Siemens medium-voltage drawout controllers, type Series 81000 have a modular design consisting of up to three vacuum contactors per vertical section, each with three current limiting fuses, all housed in a free-standing sheet steel enclosure.
The completely drawout contactor carriage (360 A) includes all major power components (vacuum contactor, power fuses, CPT and CPT fuses) on one wheeled, drawout carriage. The drawout contactor carriage includes a quick disconnect plug for secondary connections. Drawout fuses carriages are used when loads require 720 A vacuum contactors.
Contactors are available with up to three high mounting for 5 kV and 360 A.
The drawout controllers are available in a wide range of starter types, including solid state reduced voltage.
The Siemens medium-voltage drawout controllers, type Series 81000 are manufactured under ISO9001 quality standards, along with Siemens complete line of medium-voltage switchgear and vacuum circuit breakers. The medium-voltage drawout controllers, type Series 81000 are designed, tested and labeled per NEMA, NEC, CSA, ANSI and UL standards.
